About the Product

The xCELLigence Real-Time Cell Analysis Series offers an exceptional range of advanced biotech equipment designed for life science researchers and drug discovery experiments. These analyzers enable real-time, label-free monitoring of cell health, behavior, and function with unmatched precision and sensitivity. Whether it’s energy metabolism, cell viability, contractility, or impedance-based movement detection, the xCELLigence series covers a multitude of measurement modalities.

 

The series includes three specialized models:

  • xCELLigence RTCA SP: The single plate (SP) model is perfect for real-time monitoring of live cell proliferation, determination of viral titers, and observing cytopathic effects. Running a 96-well electronic microplate, the SP model captures high-accuracy data.
  • xCELLigence RTCA DP: The RTCA dual plate (DP) model continuously measures cell invasion and migration while monitoring cell health and function using label-free cellular impedance. Its three-cradle design enables simultaneous or independent control and monitoring of three separate electronic 16-well plates, providing a flexible solution for multiple users.
  • xCELLigence RTCA MP: An ideal model for multiple plate (MP) assays, the RTCA MP allows for real-time immune cell killing assessments in a 6 x 96-well format. This model provides continuous and comprehensive data.

All xCELLigence models are compatible with the standard CO2 cell culture incubator and come with a control unit housed outside the incubator. The models generate real-time kinetic data for assay windows ranging from seconds to days and provide seamless online data acquisition and offline data analysis capabilities, compliant with FDA regulations.
