The 5425 and 5425 R Centrifuges combine quiet operation with an exceptional array of features suitable for a wide range of molecular and cell biology applications. An array of 6 different optional rotors are available to accommodate a variety of lab tubes and applications, the most substantial of which can hold up to 10 X 5mL samples. The advanced cooling system of the refrigerated 5425 R model facilitates the precise temperature control necessary for processing temperature-sensitive samples, even at maximum rotor speed. The rotor program has been expanded to include innovative features, such as the aerosol-tight Eppendorf QuickLock lids for easy handling, software enhancements for efficient operation, and OptiBowl design for even quieter operation.
